1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to efelcbesti. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of efelcbesti's website, services, and car rental offerings. By accessing our website, making a reservation, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use our services. Please read these Terms carefully before using our services.

2. Eligibility for Car Rental

To rent a vehicle from efelcbesti, you must:

• Be at least 23 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license that has been held for at least one year
• Present a valid credit card in your name for the security deposit
• Meet our insurance requirements

Additional drivers must also meet these eligibility requirements and be registered on the rental agreement. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet our eligibility criteria or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

3. Booking and Reservation

Reservation Process

Reservations can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our office. When making a reservation, you must provide accurate and complete information. A confirmation of your reservation will be sent to the email address provided during the booking process.

Confirmation and Modification

Your reservation is confirmed once you receive a confirmation number from us. Modifications to your reservation can be made subject to availability and may result in price adjustments. We recommend making modification requests at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time.

Required Documents

At the time of pickup, you must present:

• A valid driver's license
• A valid credit card in the renter's name
• Proof of identity (such as a passport or national ID card)
• Any additional documents specified during the reservation process

4. Payment and Fees

Rental Charges

The rental charges include the base rental rate for the selected vehicle category, mandatory insurance coverage, and applicable taxes. Additional charges may apply for optional services, equipment, or coverage.

Security Deposit

A security deposit will be pre-authorized on your credit card at the time of pickup. The amount varies depending on the vehicle category and rental duration. The deposit will be released upon return of the vehicle in the same condition as provided, subject to our inspection.

Additional Charges

You may incur additional charges for:

• Late returns (charged at the hourly rate plus a late fee)
• Fuel (if the vehicle is not returned with the same fuel level as at pickup)
• Excess mileage beyond the included allowance
• Cleaning fees for excessively dirty vehicles
• Traffic violations or parking tickets incurred during the rental period
• Damages not covered by insurance

5. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

Authorized Use

The rental vehicle must only be:

• Driven by the renter or additional authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement
• Used on properly maintained roads
• Used in accordance with all applicable traffic laws and regulations
• Used within Singapore unless specifically authorized in writing

Prohibited Use

The rental vehicle must not be used:

• By any person not listed as an authorized driver on the rental agreement
• While under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair driving ability
• For any illegal purpose or in any illegal manner
• To push or tow any vehicle or other object
• In any race, test, or competition
• To transport goods in violation of customs regulations
• To transport more passengers than the vehicle has seat belts
• To transport cargo exceeding the vehicle's capacity

Violation of these restrictions may result in the termination of the rental agreement, forfeiture of all payments, and liability for any damages.

6. Insurance and Liability

Basic Insurance Coverage

All rentals include basic insurance coverage, which typically covers:

• Third-party liability insurance as required by Singapore law
• Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with a deductible amount that varies by vehicle category
• Theft Protection (TP) with a deductible amount that varies by vehicle category

Supplementary Protection Options

Additional insurance options are available at an extra cost, including:

• Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) to reduce or eliminate the CDW deductible
• Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) for driver and passenger injuries
• Personal Effects Coverage (PEC) for personal belongings in the vehicle

Insurance Exclusions

Insurance coverage does not apply to damage resulting from:

• Violation of these Terms or the rental agreement
• Negligent, reckless, or willful conduct
• Use of the vehicle by an unauthorized driver
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Off-road driving
• Damage to the undercarriage, interior, tires, wheels, or windshield (unless specific coverage is purchased)

7. Accidents and Damages

In the event of an accident, theft, or damage to the rental vehicle, you must:

1. Immediately notify the local police and obtain a police report
2. Contact efelcbesti as soon as possible at the emergency number provided in your rental agreement
3. Not admit fault or liability
4. Obtain names, addresses, phone numbers, and license plate numbers of all involved parties and witnesses
5. Not abandon the vehicle without proper safeguarding
6. Complete an accident report form provided by efelcbesti

Failure to follow these procedures may result in you being held fully liable for any damage or loss, regardless of fault.

8. Termination and Cancellation

Cancellation by Customer

Reservation cancellations are subject to the following policies:

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund
• Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time will incur a charge of 25% of the total rental cost
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time will incur a charge of 50% of the total rental cost
• No-shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation

Termination by efelcbesti

We reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and repossess the vehicle without prior notice if:

• You breach any term of the rental agreement or these Terms
• You provided false or misleading information during the reservation process
• The vehicle is used in a prohibited manner
• The vehicle's safety is at risk
• The vehicle is being used to conduct illegal activities

In the event of such termination, you will not be entitled to any refund and may be liable for additional charges, including but not limited to the cost of repossessing the vehicle.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, efelcbesti shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profit, revenue, data, business opportunities, or anticipated savings
• Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use our services
• Any damages resulting from items left in the rental vehicle
• Any damages resulting from mechanical breakdown or vehicle failure, except where caused by our negligence

In any case, our total liability to you for all damages shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the rental.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through friendly negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) for arbitration in accordance with its rules.

The arbitration shall be conducted in Singapore in the English language. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on both parties.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. The date of the last modification will be displayed at the top of the page.
